So exactly what is it that you do. My brother sent me your link I am a certified fashion designer, i have been off and on in the business. I currently would like to market jeans and active wear for athletic people. Real athletic women, big legs, full butt, small waist. Jeans are hard to find out there and so are athletic wear. I make most of my gym clothes and pants because of my butt to waist to thigh ratio. So what is that you would consult with me on.
It is very true and have come across this fit issue more than I can count. Many times I have removed the yolk and added denim fabric that was left over after hemming the length to create a deeper and longer “v” so that the waist would be around…well the waist. It seems that the only jeans that come in this fit have pockets that are 4-6 inches ABOVE the bottom toosh curve; resulting in “mom butt”. I could help you through your design process to create a jean body that fits and has the aesthetics and pocket placement that would allow you to offer a premium competitive fit. Often times people get tunnel vision and either under or over design- costing money and selling time. Email me at ButtTherapist@gmail.com. Thanks for the support and visiting the site. I hope you and your brother enjoy it!
Ler me first say how impressed I am with your site, helpful yet fun advice…
I’m an almost 58 yo man, and was just told by my lovely wife that the new Levi’s 501s I just so proudly bought, shrunk, and put on weren’t so great for me… (I’m 5-7, 156#, pretty fit but with long torso and short legs – the Levi’s were 34-30). Actually the quote was, “they look like workman’s jeans”, which, she felt, weren’t quite appropriate for me.
So, what do you suggest? I am pretty small in hips and seat, but DO NOT have anything resembling a 6 pack… Or 4 pack… Or 2 pack….
Thanks!
Okay 59 years old and wearing Wranglers. ready to make the move to a upscale pair of jeans, 6’3″ and weigh 200 lbs with a 34″ waist a a 34″ inseam. Can’t handle low rise but would like something that shows off my butt. Would also like to wear with boots occasionally. Willing to spend what you think is best.
I am preparing a Denim Seminar for november in the city of Leon, Mexico. I already have interesting conferences confirmed. It would be great you to be speaker in this seminar that is going to be attended by fabric and garment producers from around the world. Kind regards.

My husband has been wearing a 38×28 jean and is over age 65. His jeans won’t stay up anymore because of his round belly. Have tried larger sizes to go around his girth, but the rises are too short to reach the equator. Long rise? Ideas?

I am a 63 year old man who is 6 ft 1 in tall and weigh 250. I am a big man wth no large “Beer Belly” but just spread out all around. 🙂
I seem to wear anywhere from a 40 to a 42 in waist right now and typically a 32 inseam.
I am looking for a pair of jeans that fit in the waist but don’t then have a huge butt and leg surplus of material. I also prefer my pants to ride a bit higher and totally dislike anything mid rise or low rise.
What brands should I be looking at? What other advice would you offer and do you offer personalized services beyond this forum?
Thanks,

Good Morning,
I own 2 chiropractic offices and I wear jeans every friday. I would like to wear them every day, but I do not want to look to casual. I am short 5’6″ and muscular. So I wear a 34 x 29 in DKNY jeans, Lucky, and RL. But I am looking at brands like AG and Diesel and I was wondering what your thoughts are on business casual jeans.
